This policy describes how The Ingenarium (“we”, as the producer of the Design Your Career Youth Summit) manage the personal data of individuals that register to attend the Design Your Career Youth Summit (‘Event’), and who optionally purchase an ‘All Access Pass’ to the Event, through the youthcareersummit.com website.

The content presented at the Event is intended for the use of senior secondary school students, their parents, teachers and advisors.  By providing your personal details you warrant to us that you are over 15 years of age.  

Personal Data Collected, Means of Collection & Purpose for Collection

We will only use personal data collected for the purposes stated below or where required to do so by law.  If we need to use your data for a different purpose, we will contact you to obtain your consent.

1. Non-Sensitive Personal Data.
   1. At the point of registration for the Event we collect data that enables us to identify you, including your first name, surname, email address, country of residence and an indicator of your status as a student, parent, teacher or advisor.  You provide this data directly to us by completing a registration form on the website.  We use this data to manage your access to the Event content. We may further use this data to promote other Events or online content to you that we believe may align with your interests.  
   2. If you purchase an optional ‘All Access Pass’ we will also collect billing and payment details.  You provide this data directly to us by completing a form on the website.  We use this data only to fulfill the contractual commitments of that specific transaction and for the legitimate purpose of maintaining customer and business records.
   3. We will collect some technical and user data relating to your consumption of the Event content on our website.  This data is collected automatically by cookies and similar technologies as you use the website.  We use this data for our legitimate business interests namely to properly administer the website.
   4. We will collect some marketing data relating to your interests and communication preferences.  You provide this data to us when completing survey forms on the website.  We use this data for our legitimate business interests namely to support our marketing strategy.
   5. We may collect any communications data resulting from communications that you send to us via the website, email or social media.  We use this data for the purpose of maintaining communication with you where appropriate and to maintain legitimate business records.

• Your personal data will only be accessed by employees of The Ingenarium who have a legitimate business need to know the data.  These employees are required to maintain confidentiality.

• Where our website contains links to third-party websites, we advise you to refer to their data privacy policies.  Clicking on those links and connecting to third-party sites may enable the sharing of data about you.  We are not responsible for the privacy policies or data management procedures of third-party sites.
